Re: ONE YEAR ON .
Missed the last venue but at least I could play magic there.
Yes great show finding the ideal hall.
And a great show on getting a regular bunch to keep the new club going.
Things can only look up from now on. Looking forward to our 1st show and hopefully
Grabbing a few new members.

Yes we now have an excellent venue, but we do need to get out there, put games on at more shows and try and get more members.

That's like minded members who want to enjoy the hobby, not stitch up mates or make a profit from them!!

Simon,
If you're short of some cards, ask Martin, he's bound to have bought some
that he doesn't want any more

Re: ONE YEAR ON .
Well said Reece. It's a great club, the at atmosphere is much better, and there isn't anyone trying to make a quick buck or cause an unnecessary argument. Mainly because our tables are open to war gamers and not solely reserved for profit profit profit. Lets hope year two brings us greater times.

I totally agree Neil.
I'm pleased to be away from that collection of wasters. Glenn is just in it to line his pockets and
those other tossers on the commitee were just too stupid to realise.
We're well set up now and I enjoyed watching that game last night that those new chaps were playing !!!

Those new guys have a really different concept to War Gaming, interesting to watch their grasp of the enormous array of forces available to them.
I really enjoyed the Muskets and Tomahawks game, shame I couldn't stay around to see the outcome.

Yes the Muskets and Tomahawks game was great and did look superb. The ancients game looked interesting, please tell me Phil didn't win though. It was great to see the new members. I had a good chat with one of them and he really enjoyed himself, he'll definitely be back.

I take it the Brits managed to get their cow train off the table then? We will have to try and integrate the new members into some of our games, break them in gently!

Yes the Brits made it off. Although the rangers didn't. But still one of the best games we have had.
Yes the new members enjoyed their night, although it now looks like I'm after some cheap panzer IVs.
As they seem to do well at capturing bridges against Abrhams, Bradleys and a nuclear missile submarine.

I can't believe it either. After 50 years of wargaming you've finally found a set of rules you can win at
