War & Conquest Blog

Post  Dave Toone on March 4th 2014, 20:44

I've just updated my blog with pictures of the first 10 castings of the Ancient Indians I'm hopefully going to be using for the December gaming day.

Might be of interest for anyone that's ever thought about drop moulding!

Very good stuff dave. I think the ten you have made look impressive, almost enough for me to start thinking about an Indian army. (Which I said I would never do again!)
When you have done the conversions and have a variety of figures, it will look stunning.
The big question is- what are you going to do about horses, chariots and of cvourse, elephants!

Cheers Tony.

The chariots aren't a problem and I intend to sculpt both the horse and elephants in two halves, which is easier to cast and also easier to add variety to by swapping halves (once there are converted halves for variety of course!)

The doing of it isn't the hard part - keeping focused on one thing at a time is the killer for me!!  bounce
