will do then
Petes availability in doubt for that evening . Nigel would be interested though . He did mention something about making him self available on the forum .
i advised him not to avoid disappointment !

How are they based ? What sort of frontages and figures per base are they?
Just in case the rules don 't turn up i wondered if they would be playable with any other system that i may or may not have and that i understand/don't understand yet?

Handly the rules turned up just before I left for work so all is good there. Basing wise its a frontage of 60x30mm for each stand. I just need to read them and find some markers for casulties and all is set If you have played black powder or warmaster before then the basics should be very familour to you.

Re: games on 05/08/15
thanks for the game Ben . the figures looked really nice . why couldn't you have brought them along before i started collecting 28mm?
thought the rules gave a quick to play game . still hard to get my head round how quick some of the stuff can move (sometimes!)
but it gave a result in the time we have available to us . and we all like to get a result . not necessarily the won Nigel and myself got last night though
well played to Jim
certainly be happy to try them again
i know you said you got the idea from some novels you had read and mentioned several potential opponenets and allies . what were they again . not that i am interested in getting any at the moment......................

Well focusing just on the Normans and Fatmid then its quite extensive lol.
Normans (Crusaders):
Themselves
Saxons
Byzantine Empire
Italian states
Holy Roman Empire
Seljuk Turks
Fatmid Caliphate:
Themselves
Later crusades + Crusader states
Byzantine Empire
Seljuk Turks
Mongols
Just some of the ways it can be expanded lol
I am glad you all enjoyed it though, and it was fun to watch as although Jim had the initial upper hand it could still have gone either way.
