There is an exhibit of 'war-toys' and 'war games' at Chathams Historical Dockyard from the V & A museum.

Exhibit is free but the Dockyard is £16 (which can be used all year).

Usual action men and toy guns that get the nostalgia churning but some really interesting board games and soldiers through the ages. Not sure it's worth £16 but if you intend to revisit to look at the other stuff then £16 is a bargain. The submarine is brilliant for example.
